Finding a Web Host

As I am newly immersing myself into the world of blogging and web design, I am trying to find the best deal for registering a domain and finding a host that will allow me to use ASP.NET and either MS Access or MS SQL as a back-end database.

I'm using this space as a means of storing the sites I find to visit later.
